Product Overview:

My reliable clipper of almost 10 years broke down on me so I had to go on the hunt for some new clippers. My clippers just decided to break down on me one day which was entirely random. I probably dropped them one two many times and enough was enough. I did not know where to start in buying new clippers but had the below criteria as a means to help me try and choose the best clippers that would suit me.

My criteria was that it had to have the below:

  • Waterproof
  • Sharp
  • Quick charge
  • Cordless

Waterproof – I wanted clippers that were waterproof so that I could use it in the shower without the fear of receiving an electrical shock

Sharp – I needed clippers that were sharp so that I could achieve a sharp finish when shaping up my beard which I tend to do every few days. I wanted to be able to achieve a clean finish with a sharp beard

Quick Charge – If you are anything like me then you forget to put your clippers on charge until you really need it, and that is usually when its too late meaning that you are going to end up leaving your house late.

Cordless – There is nothing worse then having clippers you have to plug it. This is always a non negotiable with me having clippers.

After doing some research on Amazon I found the Electric Pro Hair Clippers Cordless on Amazon by Zhuolang, which I hoped would tick all the above criteria.

It seemed like it would tick all the boxes so I decided to buy it at a very good price of £24.69

Waterproof: The clippers are waterproof and I use it in the shower all the time. You are able to use it when your face is wet but it does not cut as clean as it will do if your face is dry.

Sharp: This was the one disappointing thing about the clippers. It is not as sharp as I thought it would be. It does not cut as clean as I expected it would. You do not get that clean cut feel which is the only thing that is disappointing.

Quick Charge: You are unable to use the clipper whilst it is charging. If the clippers are dead, then you will have to wait a while before you are able to use it. They do however last a long time. I probably charge the clippers on average once every 2 weeks getting 4 – 6 uses out of it before it goes dead.

Cordless: The clippers are cordless as described in the description when buying.

The clippers would have got a strong 9/10 if they were able to give that sharp clean cut feel. However, as they are not able to do so, this is why it only achieved a 7.5/10. The design is amazing as it is cool and different. The clippers are lightweight and easy to clean. The packaging is good and comes with everything you need. With the price being under £25 it is a bargain to have and clippers you can use as a secondary option. An option you can have in your travel bag for example but I would not recommend it as it being your main clippers if you are after that sharp clean cut feel.
